Course Description

The Markets course introduces the fundamental concepts of how a modern financial market is organized and how it operates. The course covers topics such as order books, matching, liquidity, intermediation, and hedging. The material is composed of written lessons, video lectures, and quizzes. It is self-paced and should take approximately one week to complete.

Jeff began his career in financial markets at interdealer broker ICAP. He moved on to build the Algorithmic Trading desk of a proprietary trading firm. He has been trading commodity futures on the COMEX, NYMEX, and CME for 6 years, with a focus on precious metals and energy.
